Madison Colt selected to bowl game

A member of the Madisonville Colts' eighth-grade squad is getting the chance to showcase his skills on the football field on a national stage.
Logan Otte, 13, of Madisonville, has been named to the Offense-Defense Youth All-American Bowl.
Logan, a starter at both the wide receiver and defensive back for the Colts this past season, will join peers in his age group nationwide in an “East” meets “West” clash taking place at Doug Shaw Stadium in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on Jan. 2.
Logan was selected from a group of young athletes across the country numbering in the thousands to participate in the all-star game.
In its fourth year, the Offense-Defense Youth All-American Bowl is part of a weeklong series of events leading up to a nationally televised all-star game with high school seniors, who have also been deemed of earning all-star status in the country. The organization holding the event, Offense-Defense Sports, also runs instructional camps nationwide every summer.
