The ID Showcase Camp is designed for athletes aiming to obtain exposure and acquire all the accolades and name recognition that their play warrants. Exposure is our goal, but exposure is the last trait on a long list of traits that will lead an athlete to success. We work on getting you there, noting the fact that “exposure” at the wrong time could be a disaster if you’re NOT READY to be exposed. In addition to gaining exposure, athletes will be provided life skills that are required of every participant at the next level. The recruiting process is extremely important!!! Don’t leave success in the hands of someone else or to an app that promises the world! It’s a personal process that takes a lot of time, dedication and research to succeed and Offense-Defense will be right there with you every step of the way. There are numerous awards available to athletes attending this camp that assure an awareness of both college coaches and media personnel alike.
This camp runs for 3 days with up to eight training sessions base on individual camp-desired attendance selection, focusing on full contact skills with advance development directed toward individual improvements.
Flag Training Camp: Athletes will take part in a series of drills for both an offensive and defensive position. They will spend the initial part of the camp day learning and working on fundamental skills associated with the game of football in a non-contact environment, learning receiving, passing, defending and route running.
Scrimmage games will be setup for play during conclusion of camp to reinforce the skills learned. Flag football is a great way to introduce young athletes to football learning the rules, how to play as a team, and to just see if there’s any interest or the level of talent to continue in the sport.
The Transition Camp: For the athlete wanting to prepare for the transition from flag to tackle, day two of this camp is designed with them in mind. Getting them into pads, some for the first time and learning the techniques of full contact football to understanding the fundamentals of delivering a hit and being hit during the live game play.
Moving from flag football to tackle football is a big step with great consideration which can sometimes be a bit overwhelming. Many athletes have found that they are satisfied with a flag career and others have dedicated their young lives to gaining as much knowledge as they can and advancing to the next level. If your child is eager for more and wants to transition to full contact tackle football, then this is the camp for them.
Flag Training Participant will be instructed on the following:
Throwing
Route Running
Flag Pulling
Catching
Defense
